Target Audience
Anyone wishing to learn computer fundamentals, from building a computer to connecting it securely to a network. This module prepares for the CompTIA A+ Certification.
Objectives
- Provide fundamentals of computer hardware and software as well as advanced concepts such as security, networking, and the responsibilities of an ICT professional.
- Develop working knowledge of how computers operate, how to assemble computers, and how to troubleshoot hardware and software issues on computers and mobile devices.
- Develop critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills with Hands-on labs and virtual learning tools using both real equipment and Cisco Packet Tracer.
- Install and upgrade hardware and software and troubleshoot systems.
- Experiment with network designs and configurations with Cisco Packet Tracer simulation-based learning activities
- Identify common security threats like phishing and spoofing.
